Autistic student transferred due to service dog
A male 5 year old and his service dog will begin classes at a special school for autistic students instead of his former pre-kindergarten special education class in his neighborhood. The family won a temporary court order to bring his service dog to class in his hometown school district however school officials argued in court that the service dog another student in the local class had severe allergies to animals and that the service dog was not part of the autistic student's IEP. - St. Louis Post-Dispatch
